Medium tanks are tanks that have a balanced mix of firepower, mobility and armor. This essentially gives it the sweet spot between being a light tank and a heavy tank. Due to being the jack of all trades, they appear commonly in multiple nations and eventually evolve in main battle tanks, or MBTs.
